I once relished in days like these
Bathed in grey suds
That hang above for eternity
Or so it seemed
The weeds of heartache
Seemingly sprawl for miles
I am greeted with their chokehold
Dragged to their lowly caverns
Beneath their wild roots
I find the origins of true despair
For a moment distress clears
As light pierces the vast grey ceiling
Bestowing brief resolve
Fleeting perspective
That unshackles my body from cold dismay
But I descend
Below the iron skies
The traveling dark I once proudly claimed
Beneath the very storm
I’ve sought to cradle me in sleep
To dispel the anguish that coils within
Bathed in grey suds

I am greeted with their chokehold
Dragged to their lowly caverns
Beneath their wild roots

An Early Retirement TG
An Early Retirement TG “Sir Theo, you have done a great service for your people, and I am grateful to you for accepting your position here at the castle.” “I’m honored and humbled to serve by your side, Princess Lofn.” The paladin bowed. The morning was young, and it was his first day were he had not donned his old, worn armor and shield, something he had not expected to miss. Sir Theobald had been the knight captain in charge of the defense against the demon army. The battle had gone on for several days straight, but thanks to his steadfast will, he had managed to hold the line and protect the people and his fellow knights. When the battle was over and the demons had retreated, he fell, exhausted from his injuries and lack of sleep. Many feared such a hero wouldn’t have awoken again. Thankfully, Theobald opened his eyes once more, to the relief and joy of everyone. For his accolades and service, the princess had requested him to serve by her side. It was a formality he was

NeOlympus - Chapter 7
Pine needles crunched underfoot as the archer made his way through the forest enclave. Though this settlement was the size of a small city with its earthen structures built around the forest, there were no roads paved or trees removed from their natural place to make room for this settlement. It was built in unity with the wilderness and not to replace it. Apollo had instructed his sunriders to land his carriage away from the enclave. They found a spot to do so in a large clearing. Apollo had proceeded on foot, leaving two of his sunriders to tend to the carriage's steeds and protect the carriage. Moving further down the narrow trail, Apollo approached the spring at the center of the enclave, where many nymphs, mortals, centaurs, and others were openly bathing. All were female, as was the entirety of this enclave, but they did not seem bothered by the presence of the male god hiking along their trails. Of course, Apollo's eyes lingered on this sight of naked flesh for a long moment

A Possibly Superior Decision of Sheer Stupidity
You cried out as you fell into what appeared to be a pitch black abyss, crashing down as you groaned, forcing yourself up. "Ouch…" You groaned as your body flared in pain, gazing around at your surroundings as your eyes slowly adjusted to the darkness, registering you were now in a long and narrow hallway. Forcing yourself up, you slowly began to walk in one direction, fear and uncertainty coming over you as you began to see more and more webs. You couldn't have fallen right into her…? And then a voice sounded from above, filling you with terror as you jumped back, seeing the Stretchy Pink, Spider toy fall from the ceiling, now covered in grime, and glaring right at you with Green eyes. "YOU!" "I asked you to play fairly, and you cheated!" She called out, her face getting right up into yours as she appeared deeply displeased. The feeling to shrink and hide growing, as if you were actually being scolded by someone you care about, as crazy as this sounded. "Now, I want you
